01/02/13 :: First show of the new year!

Hello friends! Happy New Year!

We're happy to announce, even though we're in the midst of recording, that we have a show scheduled! We couldn't resist playing with our friends in the Susan Constant to help celebrate the release of their new EP - remember when they played our EP release last year? Well, now we're returning the favor!

11/02/12 :: We Are Recording

Hello friends, just wanted to drop a note and say that we're in the midst of recording, which is bittersweet - we love putting the new songs together in the studio, but we don't love turning down gigs, and we've had some lovely offers from some lovely bands. But we will sacrifice in order to bring you more rock and/or roll in the near future!

We hope you are well and drinking a nice hot autumnal beverage. We'll see you soon!

07/27/12 :: Last show!

So we're gonna take a break for writing/recording the next thing (EP? Full-length? Movie? Broadway musical?), but before we go, we're gonna do one last show, and it's this coming Wednesday at PA's Lounge, where we've never played (well, Phil's played solo there, la dee dah.)

We'll be on at 9pm, not so bad for a weeknight. We hope to see you there!

07/11/12 :: Butterknife to play Somerville's ArtBeat Festival

We are super-excited to super-announce we'll be playing the ArtBeat Festival in Somerville's Davis Square! The festival takes place Friday and Saturday, July 20th - 21st. We'll be playing the Elm St stage (right next to Redbones BBQ) at 2:30pm on Saturday. Hope to see you there!
