01/25/12 :: Boston Phoenix plugs our EP release show (again!)
breaking new ground in hyperbole?
The On The Download blog over at the Boston Phoenix kindly plugged our Do the Needful EP release show, and we're all kinds of verklempt about writer Michael Marotta's opening paragraph :
"Eleven months from now, when everyone's busy trying to one-up each other with their Best of 2012 lists, two records that got the release party treatment on the same Saturday night in late January should be among the rare consistencies in everyone's Top Whatevers."
One of those bands he's talking about is - wait for it - us.
(The other is the fantastic-sounding local Americana act Coyote Kolb.)
